How I structure my Reiki Sessions

Every Reiki practitioner is different. Each one brings their own gifts, talents, and education to the table in order to serve their clients in the best way possible.

My background and education is in Occupational Therapy, Massage Therapy, Reiki Therapy, Sound & Vibrational Healing, and Neurolinguistic Programming.

I also have developed my intuitive and psychic skills over the years. My primary intuitive pathways are clairvoyance, clairaudience, and claircognizance. This means that I receive intuitive messages via visual images, actual auditory messages, and clear knowing.

When a client comes in for a Reiki session, we start by having a conversation to discover the root cause/issue that drove them to make an appointment. This is important so there can be direction for the session and the client can notice and document changes in the outcome of their Reiki session.

Then, I have my client choose two crystals. One for each hand that they can hold during their session. The meaning of each crystal is not important in the process of choosing. This is for the client to intuitively choose a crystal they are drawn to. After the session, we look up the meaning of the crystal. It ALWAYS ends up being exactly the energy that the client is needing at the time.

I like to do this because I think it begins the process of the client trusting their own intuition more.

The client then lies face down on my massage table. There is a Biomat on my table that is filled entirely of amethyst crystals and is heated with Far infrared heat. This mat is actually classified by the FDA as a 510K medical device. The Biomat has been shown to reduce stress, inflammation, and pain.

Clients lay on the table fully clothed, shoes off, watch off. They are covered with a soft fuzzy blanket.

I begin the session with a prayer and invocation that I say out loud so that the client can hear what I am saying. This invocation includes the intention for the client to receive what they need to receive and release that they need to release. Only energies with the highest good are welcome into the session.

Angels are often present during the session to assist in the healing that take place.

I use hand hammered Himalayan Singing Bowls for the sound therapy portion of the session. These bowls are placed intentionally ON the clients body for deeper relaxation.

Then I place my hands either on the client or hover over the client for the Reiki energy to flow. I will do an energy scan to tap into areas that feel like they need extra support. During the session I am guided not only by the Reiki energy but by Angels, Archangels, and ascended Masters that tell me where to focus. Yes, they do send messages for the client. I will write these messages on the white board next to the table. Clients can take a picture of the messages after the session to take with them. {Clients do turn over about half way through the session ending lying on their back}.

Many times during a session, I will take my clients through what is called a Reiki Journey. This is a guided meditation that is tailored specifically for the client, intuitively guided by the Reiki energy and the Angels.

When the session is complete, the client slowly gets off the table. We then talk for a few minutes and "unpack" what happened in their session. That they felt, what I felt, what messages came through, we look up the meaning of the crystals they choose, and what to expect moving forward.

People often times ask, "how often should I get Reiki?". My answer is always... "You will know when it is the right time to come back. Trust your own intuition, listen to your angels and guides."
